MusicBee
MBXHub is a plugin for MusicBee, written by Steven Mayall. MusicBee is the foundation everything here is built on.
MBXHub is built on MusicBee's published plugin API: MusicBee API for developers,
including the MusicBeeInterface.cs SDK file.
MusicBee itself is not open source; it is the foundation, credited above.
Partners
MBXHub is built to be extended. This is where the people building on it are credited.
IKANDY
IKANDY is a music visualizer for Windows 10 and 11: ShaderToy-style shaders, WebGPU scenes, and MilkDrop presets driven by the audio on your machine. With the MBXHub plugin installed, IKANDY connects to MusicBee over localhost and follows it directly: now playing and artwork, play, pause, skip and seek, playlists you can browse and start from inside the visuals, and MusicBee's own shuffle and repeat modes. Nothing to sign into, nothing leaves the machine. IKANDY is on Steam, with a free tier and an optional Pro upgrade.

What we build on
- Essentia — AGPL-3.0. The audio analysis behind Truedat, not included with MBXHub.
